JP Morgan Cazenove's Isle of Dogs Mission

The Dockland Settlements would like to thank JP Morgan Cazenove for their sterling work in painting the Main Hall at the Isle of Dogs Centre. The Hall looks much fresher, cleaner and more welcoming. The feedback from the user groups has already been overwhelming – even the Old Ladies Bingo group swear they can see their numbers better. The JP Morgan Cazenove volunteers have definitely missed their true vocation as painters and decorators! A million thanks from the Docklands team and all of our user groups.

HSBC - Makeover at IOD

Fifty volunteers from HSBC spent the day at the Isle of Dogs Settlement sanding down and varnishing the floor of the main hall, giving the kitchen a spring clean, painting the exterior and interior of the entrance and giving our garden a complete makeover. The entire centre now looks completely different so we would like to thank HSBC for all their hard work in funding and carrying out the work. It would have been impossible for our small staff team to get all those jobs done without closing the centre for weeks so we and our user groups would like to say a big thank you to HSBC for all their hard graft!

Orange RockCorp - Stratford Painting

It’s amazing what a team of volunteers can do in four hours. Orange Rock Corp arranged for 150 plus volunteers re-paint the Children’s play centre and sports hall at our Stratford site as well as paint the club room and garden area at the Isle of Dogs. Not only do they get a free ticket to a concert at Wembley but they receive our warm, sincere thanks for a job well done. We will definitely be inviting them back for more hard graft next year!
